Need Help or Support?

🔒 Edgehill’s Promise to You

🌈 We’re Here to Keep You Safe!

At Edgehill Youth Club, everyone wants you to have fun and feel safe. Everyone who works or volunteers at EHYCC has been checked (with something called a DBS check) and trained to keep children and young people safe.

That means:

✅ We keep you safe.

✅ We listen to you.

✅ We take action if something’s wrong.

📛 What is Abuse?

Abuse is when someone hurts you, makes you feel scared, or treats you badly. It can happen in different ways.

If anything like this is happening to you – or to someone you know – you’re not alone, and it’s not your fault.

💬 Who Can You Talk To?

If something’s wrong or making you feel sad or scared, talk to a trusted adult at EHYCC or:

👩‍💼 Anne (Centre Manager)
📞 0151 263 2921
📱 07968 261765

👩 Sue (Independent Helper – not from the club)
📱 07859 018296

Other people who can help:

📞 Childline – 0800 1111

📞 Careline – 0151 233 3700

📞 NSPCC – 0808 800 5000

🫶 What Happens When You Tell Someone?

When you tell an adult about a problem:

👂 They will listen

🛟 They will help

🫶 They won’t be angry with you – they’ll be proud of you for speaking up!

If you tell us something serious: - We will listen and take you seriously - We may need to tell someone who can help - We will never judge you, and we’ll support you through it.

💙 Remember

You have the right to feel safe and to be treated with respect. If something’s wrong, we’re here to help. Your voice matters. Your safety matters.
