About Us

Originally established as Edge Hill Boys Club in 1933, before moving to Durning Road as Edge Hill Youth Club in 1962, the centre opened in order to give young people opportunities to develop and enhance their personal, social and life skills.

Due to changing needs in the area, we have broadened our offering and transformed from Edge Hill Youth Club to Edge Hill Youth & Community Centre, with the centre undergoing a major refurbishment in 2015. We’re now proud to be able to offer our members access to wonderful facilities, including a music room, sports hall and outdoor space. We now offer a variety of services for all ages.

Although our organisation has changed considerably in the years we’ve been working in Edge Hill, our focus has always been on keeping a safe, positive and structured environment in which local people can flourish.

Come in and say hello and see for yourself what Edge Hill Youth & Community Centre is all about.

Management Committee

Edge Hill Youth & Community Centre is backed by a management committee consisting of six key representatives from local businesses and the community.

These six individuals volunteer their time to further the status and interests of our centre and its local residents and members.

We would not be where we are today without the exceptional contribution made by our voluntary management committee who have secured our future prospects with their hard work.
